Submarine models (injection-molded plastic scale model kits) are made by several manufacturers and come in a variety of scales. Usually for display, pieces are glued together and painted according to the original color scheme. A kit typically includes: a mounting stand for display, full color decals of insignias and information on the ship’s specifications (length, width, height, weight, engine type, top speed and number of crew).
